Sleep is work
So nice to have a dodger. These race boat deliveries usually dont have dodgers or much in the way of comforts. In the past I think the convention was to have part of the crew deliver the boat home after the race. That may be less and less so. We can hope..
The only hick up was that the engine didn’t start when we first got to the boat. The gear shift assemblage was looking pretty tired and after crawling into the lazaret for a closer look I realized it was the wires that prevent you form starting the engine in gear that were corroded. Once bypassed it started right up.
Amazing sailing across the bar on this one. The Coast Gaurd recommend that you motor but many sailboats like this one don’t motor half as well as they sail.
