GBA is developing an ASA Cruise and Learn Program tailored for Summer 2021.

In consideration of the mitigation efforts that will likely continue till the fall and to provide a safe environment for the staff and students, GBA is offering individual instruction to couples or close family members.

The most reliable projection models indicate that the background risk till early summer will be equivalent to that which we experienced in the fall of 2020.

Increasing community immunity and vaccination will confer immunity on a growing segment of the population.

However, the degree to which people acquire immunity to the vaccination and its effectiveness against any mutations will be less than complete.

Consequently, social distancing and mask-wearing will be a state and federal recommendation for some time to come.

GBA believes that there will be a willingness for close family members who are seeking a personalized, intensive Cruise and Learn program with the appropriate precautions on the part of the instructor and students for an educational experience that will mirror the real-life needs of a cruising couple.
